Kierra Robinson

My love for technology steered from a small town called Gaffney, SC. As a kid, I always had an interest in gaming, computers, and LEGOs. Being able to solve problems and build things was exciting to me.

In 2018, I created a program for elementary students at the Boys and Girls Club of Midlands to learn how to code through LEGOs. Graduating in 2019 from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering. I embarked on my career as a Software Engineer in financial technology at Bank of America in Digital Sales Technology. In June 2022, I joined AWS Activate Startup as a Frontend Engineer, leveraging my expertise to drive impact projects. In April 2024, I embarked on a new chapter as a Software Engineer II in Azure Cloud + AI.

I've been lucky enough to have spoken on tech panels that range from high school students to aspiring technologists. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love for technology through speaking engagements or teaching.

I think it is important to get away from the computer sometimes, so when I'm not heads down in code, you will find me on the tennis courts working on my backhand, at pilates, traveling, or hanging out with family and friends.
